Armenia attaches great importance to its partnership with Canada

Armenian President Armen Sarkisian sent a congratulatory message to Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau on the occasion of his birthday, the press service of the Armenian head of state reported. "Armenia attaches great importance to its partnership with Canada, which has always been marked by mutual trust and a sincere desire to deepen it. I recall with warmth our substantial discussion at the 26th UN summit (COP 26) which provided an opportunity to exchange views on the prospects of expanding and strengthening bilateral cooperation, as well as regional and international issues. I hope that our meeting in Glasgow will give a new impetus to the relations between the two countries, and that through our joint efforts we will contribute to the expansion of the current agenda between Armenia and Canada and the implementation of promising initiatives," reads the message of the Armenian President.

The inauguration of the new mayor of Yerevan took place

  Today, the new mayor of the Armenian capital, Hrachya Sargsyan, was sworn in at a solemn session of Yerevan's Council of Elders. Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan, Chairman of the National Assembly Alain Simonyan, members of the government, other officials and cultural figures attended the inauguration ceremony. The 56th mayor of Yerevan swore to uphold the Constitution of the Republic of Armenia, the decisions of the City Council, to honestly and conscientiously execute the duties of the mayor, to contribute to the welfare of Yerevan, to serve for the interests of the citizens. Three tenors shocked the Yerevan audience

  The "Three Tenors" Grand Gala Concert held on December 24 at Aram Khachaturian Concert Hall shocked the Yerevan audience, and the excitement and pride of the audience was boundless.
